Full PPE and containment
Sealed work zone, negative air and protected exit path to the truck.
Contaminated material removal
Carpet, pad, saturated drywall and affected contents removed and disposed of legally.
Hard-surface sanitation
Structure cleaned, disinfected and deodorized, including subfloor and framing.
Drying and verification
Structure dried to standard and checked before reconstruction begins.

Source stopped, area isolated, occupants kept out of the contaminated zone.

Remove
Waste water extracted, affected porous materials out and bagged.

Sanitize
Antimicrobial applied to all remaining surfaces, air scrubbed throughout.

Dry and rebuild
Structure dried, verified, then rebuilt and refinished.
Common questions
We don’t recommend it. Category 3 water carries bacteria and viruses; household cleaners and a shop vac don’t make a floor safe, and the moisture left behind grows mold.
